Timeline columns missing field icons

Issue/Introduction

Timeline Columns are missing the Field level Security (FLS) Shield Icon and Required * Icons. You cannot see the shield icon on the Tasks Timeline Column Panel or Columns configured in the view. This is a generic issue for any of these types of timelines which exist in:

  • Tasks Module, timeline layout
  • R-O Staffing Workspace
  • Allocations Timeline
  • Hierarchy, Timeline layout

Note the Roadmaps Timeline layout does NOT have columns and it is not impacted by this gap in functionality.  

Expected Results: The Icons that are seen in the Grid and Details Fly-out should also appear in the Timeline Columns Panel and Columns configured in the view. 

Actual Results: The Timeline type of layout is missing these icons.

Resolution

Due to the complexity of this bug, this issue is being tracked outside of a defect. It is currently under review.

Workaround:

The Icons can be seen in the Details Fly-out panel or in the Grid layout.
