Issue/Introduction

We have a requirement to monitor Azure Managed SQL instances. Due to security restrictions, can we configure monitoring using Azure AD authentication?

Resolution

The Sqlserver probe Authentication types include:

SQL Server Authentication
Windows Authentication
Robot Service Authentication

Active Directory Universal Authentication would be considered an enhancement.
