CAUAJM_E_112507 database schema at higher version when installing Rest Webservice

Issue/Introduction

Autosys environment has been patched with the r12 SP1 Cum1 (99111085) patch.

Trying to add the REST Web Services but launching it from the r12 SP1 dvd.

During installation we get error message

CAUAJM_E_112507 The "XXXXX for instance XXX" database schema is at a higher version

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

1. open command prompt window

2. execute the following command:

set IA_AE_SKIP_DB_CHECK=1

    Due to this setting, the version of the database (AEDB) will not be checked.

3. change to the drive where you mounted the iso file, for example D:-drive

4. execute command 'install'

5. continue with the wizard to install the REST Web Service.
