Issue/Introduction

You are upgrading the Broadcom Account from Basic user to Enterprise user and getting an Error: Unable to process site id. Please contact Customer Care or you are unable to go further/stuck from Review page after submitting the details.

Cause

If your company address has special character or the portal is not moving further after the preview page and selecting Confirm & Continue.

Resolution

Follow the below steps and complete the upgrade process to become an Enterprise user

  1. Visit https://support.broadcom.com/
  2. Login with your credentials
  3. Select My Profile under your Name Drop down and select Build your profile






  4. Click on ‘Yes, I want to Build My profile’ to unlock additional services



  5. Select both the option BROADCOM SOFTWARE and enter your Site id and Contact number and verify the details



  6. Once verified, Select the SEMICONDOCTURS checkbox and enter your company address and all the information



    Note: Enter your email id when asked for Broadcom Contact as shown above

  7. Click on Submit and you will be previewed with the details you enter and the select Confirm & Continue.



  8. After submitting your request, you will see the message "Thank you for upgrading! An email will be sent to your registered email address.

The request will either route to your current Site ID user administrator or if the Site ID does not have an active administrator, to Broadcom Customer Care. Customer Care will process your request within 24 hours or less.
