Roadmaps: Unable to change total capital or total operating cost in Grid view

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 15.9.2, not able to zero out / update total capital or total operating cost in Roadmaps Grid view. It reverts back to the original number (or some other value that is different value than what was entered)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Create a project
2. Add some Operating Cost and Planned Cost to the project
3. Create a roadmap
4. Import the project created in Step 1 to the Roadmap
5. Sync the roadmap
6. Go to the Grid view
7. Add Total Capital Cost and Total Operating Cost to the column list view
8. For the investment created in Step 1:
   • Enter zero ‘0’ for Capital cost
   • Enter zero ‘0’ for Operating Cost
9. Click elsewhere on the page

Expected Result: Capital Cost and Operating Cost change to ‘0’ zero

Actual Result: Capital Cost and/or Operating Cost revert back to original Capital Cost and/or Operating Cost (or a different amount than 0)

Resolution

Fixed in 15.9.2 patch 1 and 15.9.3 as DE61281

Workaround: 

Note: This workaround will need to be used each time after the Roadmap is synced for impacted investments

1. Change the Finish Date of the Investment in the Roadmap to a different date
2. Update the Finish Date of the Investment back to the correct date.
3. Now you should be able to edit the Capital Cost and Operating Cost as expected.
