Issue/Introduction

Upgrade of Dollar Universe Reporter damage users.conf file by adding break line in the middle of first line.

The change causes errors in UVC node list, right-clicking on Node settings or when launching the uxrepadd command from the Reporter Client:

COMMAND: CMD /C ""%UNI_DIR_ROOT%\reporter_client\exec\uxrepadd.bat" EXT -REPNODE "REPORTER" -PRODUCT "DUAS" -UVMS "Univiewer_Server" -NODEVIEW "ALL DUAS NODE1/X NODES" "

AREA=X value taken from environment variable S_AREA/S_ESPEXE.

COMPANY=NODE1 value taken from environment variable S_COMPANY/S_SOCIETE.

The operation failed due to an error. Reason: Security Exception. : User not defined in USERs file:data/users.conf

Sub-Component: Reporter Server 6.x

Cause

Unknown, should the issue be encountered again, please open a case with Technical Support to investigate.

We suspect somehow the installer was launched in Repair Mode.

Resolution

Restore users.conf file which resides in /data folder from previous version of the Reporter

Note: Reporter is NOT automatically backup by the Setup, there is need to perform a backup of the Reporter folder prior to upgrading Reporter
