DWH missing project data in tables such as DWH_INV_PROJECT

Issue/Introduction

Full load of Data Warehouse (DWH) is missing project data. Some projects are not in DWH in one or more of the following tables:

• DWH_INV_INVESTMENT
• DWH_INV_PROJECT
• dwh_inv_assign_period_facts

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Set up a project in Clarity, ensure it has team, tasks, allocation etc.
2. Run the Time Slicing job
3. Now run the Load Data Warehouse - Full job
4. Query the DWH database and note the project is in the database in DWH_INV_INVESTMENT and DWH_INV_PROJECT
5. Start the Load Data Warehouse - Full job again
6. Wait a minute, then go and edit the project (any field)
7. Click save

(If a small sandbox, edit all available projects in the Modern User Experience (UX) grid whilst the job is running and some will be missing)

Expected Results: The project to be included in DWH

Actual Results: The project is missing from DWH in DWH_INV_PROJECT

Resolution

Fixed in 15.9.3 (addressed by work outside the defect) 

Workaround: Run the Full Load again, whilst making sure nobody is updating the project
