Issue/Introduction

As of Mac OS11 MDM is now a requirement. Instructions for creating one are on page 4 of the 15.7MP2 release notes.

However, many customers are requesting a sample config file which was not provided until 15.8.

Environment

Data loss Prevention endpoint prevent 15.7 MP2, Mac 10.15.x, and later agents

Cause

Mac OS11 deprecated Kernel extensions making the usage of MDM profiles mandatory.

Resolution

You can use the MDM that was provided in 15.8 in a 15.7MP2 environment, and it has been attached to this article for simplicity.
