Issue/Introduction

After an upgrade, your Time Slicing job is running very slowly and hanging. This is seen in an environment with a lot of data. Time slices are large and not set according to best practices (span over 20 years)

Environment

Release : 15.9.1, 15.9.2

Component : CLARITY TIME SLICING

Cause

This is caused by DE60061

Resolution

This has been fixed in 15.9.3.

It's recommended all the slices be by best practices and ideally under 5 years. This should be done first.

If you do not use Modern User Experience, you may consider temporarily disabling SQL Curves (See KBs: Enable or disable the SQL Curve feature toggle and SQL Curves null out queries)

Additional Information

The Post Timesheet job can also be slow/hung when a large number of timesheets have to be processed
