Issue/Introduction

You re-installed LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) and imported the configuration recovery file that was taken before re-install LUA but IP address of default distribution center is different than before.

Environment

LUA machine has 2 NICs.

NIC (1) : IP address is ###.###.###.###
NIC (2) : IP address is $$$.$$$.$$$.$$$

IP address of default distribution center was ###.###.###.### after install LUA initially then you changed it to $$$.$$$.$$$.$$$.

You exported configuration recovery file then re-installed LUA on the same machine and imported recovery file.
Now IP address of default distribution center is back to ###.###.###.###.

Resolution

This is by desiged behavior to avoid any customization done on the machine from where the configuration was exported because those customizations may not be valid for the machine where it is being imported (e.g. different hardware machine) so LUA would ask IP address to OS and use the returned one by the OS as distribution center's IP address even if import configuration recovery file.
