Issue/Introduction

DE60300 Letter in brackets will show as uppercase in Modern UX Grid

  1. In Classic UI, in Studio - Objects - Project
  2. Create an attribute called Application(s), type String
  3. Enable it for API, Save
  4. Now go to Modern UX, open the Project List - Grid Layout
  5. Go to Columns and add the field to the view
  6. Now note the Label of the Column

Expected Results: The letter "s" to be lowercase, as the attribute name

Actual Results: In the column label the attribute's name, the letter "s" shows as uppercase: Application(S). This happens to all letters in the brackets, they get capitalized. Happens on other objects as well. If multiple letters in brackets, only the first one displays as capital

Environment

Release : 15.9.1, 15.9.2

Component : CA PPM SAAS STUDIO

Resolution

This is DE60300, fixed in 15.9.3:

  • It is fixed in Details Fly-Out, in the Column Panel Selection list.

Once you add the field into the grid column layout the letter is capitalized.
