CA View - How to enable function PRTDSN

Issue/Introduction

The client would like to implement the View 14.0 PRTDSN function, to print a report to a dataset.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA View

Resolution

To implement use of PRTDSN, the following set of steps should be followed:

. Apply View 14.0 PTF SO08295.
. Apply View 14.0 PTF SO10330.
. Refresh LLA.
. Shut down the View tasks.
. If needed, SARDBASE VERSION the View database to 14.0.
. Run SARDBASE OLOAD, with the 14.0 libraries, to load the new panels from the PTF. 
. Run SARINIT, with 14.0 code, setting PRTDSN=YES.
. Start the View tasks.
