RPT-0022 Error when changing one or more parameters from Reports and Jobs

Issue/Introduction

• When changing one or more parameters in a report, users get the below error
  • RPT-0022: You do not have proper privileges to run this report. Please contact your system administrator. 
• Report examples:
  1. Capacity vs. Allocation by OBS
  2. Missing Time
  3. Timesheet Detail
• Parameter change examples:
  1. Change Employment Type, IE just select: Employee and not Contractor
  2. Change Timesheet Status from default statuses (IE only run Timesheet Detail report on open timesheets)

Cause

This is due to the user missing "edit" access (which is write permissions in Advanced Reporting)

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS JASPERSOFT

Resolution

• Grant the role the user is assigned to (IE Role_User) read / write privileges to the CA PPM folder 

1. Go to Home->Advanced Reporting
2. Click on View from the Advanced Reporting toolbar / menu and then click Repository
3. On the left hand folder window, expand the top level folder and Right click on the CA PPM folder
4. Select Permissions
5. Change ROLE_USER permissions to Read + Write

• Run the Create and Update Jaspersoft Users Job

Please note that if there are any custom folders under the CA PPM Folder you will need to give the Role_User Read + Write permissions for those as well.
