Issue/Introduction

Unable to run the Full or Incremental Load Data Warehouse (DWH) job.

In Home -> Report and Jobs ->Logs, the following is seen in the error message:

User Defined Java Class - java.lang.RuntimeException: ERROR: THERE WERE ERRORS DURING DIMENSION JOB EXECUTION FOR THE TABLE - DWH_INV_INVESTMENT

In the bg-dwh.logs:

[CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-20100: ENCOUNTERED EXCEPTION IN DWH_DIM_LOAD (DWH_INV_INVESTMENT). SQLERRM : ORA-00904: "custom attribute": invalid identifier
ORA-06512: at line 31

Resolution

If the steps in KB: Load DWH job fails with ORA-00904 invalid identifier on a custom field don't help: Rebuild the DWH - see steps at When to rebuild the Data Warehouse (DWH) database
