Issue/Introduction

When updating the memory settings in the AAI Configuration tool on a new Windows 6.0.x installation of AAI, the changes are not reflecting in the jaws.log.

After updating the Memory settings, the jaws.log will still show the max default memory of 3.56GB's like below:

[MemoryLogger] Memory status: 89.4% (3.18 GB of 3.56 GB)

Environment

Release : 6.0.1

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Cause

Defect DE471763

Resolution

1. From the Automic_Automation_Intelligence Installation folder -

Copy the JAWS Server (application).exe.vmoptions file and paste as a copy

Rename the copy as Automic Automation Intelligence (application).exe.vmoptions

2. From the Automic_Automation_Intelligence\daemon folder -

Copy the JAWS Server (service).exe.vmoptions file and paste as a copy

Rename the copy as Automic Automation Intelligence (service).exe.vmoptions

3. Restart the AAI application

4. Check the \<Install Directory>\jboss\standalone\logs\jaws.log for the updated memory settings by searching the end of the log for "[MemoryLogger] Memory status".
