Rally: Accessing "safe mode" for dashboards and custom pages

Issue/Introduction

At times there may be an app on your dashboard or on a custom page that is misbehaving and may affect the ability of the entire page to load.  Sometimes, the page will just load with nothing displaying and at other times you may see a "Yeti Betty" error page.

When this happens, it is possible to load your page in a "safe mode" which simply loads the framework of the apps, however it does not try to retrieve any of the data that may be crashing the app which is causing the page not to render.

Resolution

To enable safe mode, enter ?safe into your current dashboard or custom page URL, immediately following the .com section.

https://rally1.rallydev.com?safe/#/<PROJECT_OID>/dashboard
