How to reinitialize the Audit Trail?

Environment

Release : 6.10

Component : DOLLAR UNIVERSE

Cause

The Audit Trail data file has grown very large and is filling up the disk.

Resolution

The Purge retention delay settings for the Audit Trail should be sufficient to keep the audit trail data file from growing too large.

However, if necessary, the audit trail data file can be reinitialized using this procedure:

- unistop
- uxrazfic u_fmat60 X (or another area)
- unireorg
- unistart

WARNING:  This will remove all of the Audit Trail details from the console.
