Idea Status lookup synced to Roadmap missing values

Issue/Introduction

The Idea Status (Investment Object State - INVESTMENT_OBJ_STATUS) lookup, when synced to a Roadmap, is missing values (values blank) after syncing 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to Home - Ideas and create or use existing 3 ideas with different statuses:

• • Converted
  • Approved
  • Submitted for Approval

2. Now go to New/Modern User Experience (UX) - Roadmaps
3. Create a Roadmap and select 'Import from PPM'
4. Add all the three ideas
5. Go to the Roadmap Grid and add Status to the list
6. Note all the values are blank
7. Now run the Roadmap Sync (go to Sync Linked Items and click Sync)

Expected Results: The Lookup Status to be populated with the same values as in Classic. Same values as in Classic to be available in the lookup.

Actual Results: The Status remains blank even after the Sync and the values in the lookup are different between Classic and Modern UX.

Cause

This was analyzed by Sustaining Engineering through DE54244 and determined to be working as designed in 15.9.3. Starting in 16.0, an enhancement has been added to allow this functionality. 

Resolution

16.0 and higher

Status is now considered for Synchronization in 16.0 and higher. See the below screenshot referenced at: Synchronize Roadmap Items with Linked Project, Custom Investment, or Idea Attributes that shows the attributes available for synchronization. 

15.9.3 and lower

By design, the 'Status' attribute is not considered for Synchronization.

• You can only synchronize the system-defined roadmap items and attributes (metrics and dates) that are available by default.
• If the parent of a project contains custom attributes that match the API Attribute ID of a roadmap item, the value of the attribute is synced when the project is synced.
