Symantec is announcing the end-of-availability (EOA) for the Data Loss Prevention Pack for IT Analytics and Symantec Endpoint Protection Pack for IT Analytics beginning on April 3, 2017.
Specifically, this affects the IT Analytics installation using Symantec Installation Manager together with the Symantec Management Platform (SMP). Starting from 8.1 version of the SMP, if you upgrade or perform clean 8.1 version installation, the DLP and SEP content packs for IT Analytics will no longer be available.
Symantec is recommending that customers install the standalone versions of DLP and SEP pack for IT Analytics. However, those are EOS at this point:

Since our move to the Broadcom organization, we have been devoting considerable work to streamlining our portfolio, and have made the decision to remove certain features used by Symantec Data Loss Prevention and Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Effective immediately, Broadcom officially will not longer maintain and Support will not be actively provided.

If you have DLP and SEP packs for IT Analytics installed in your environment, you will have to uninstall them before upgrading to SMP version 8.1.
No changes have been introduced to the Client Server Management Pack for IT Analytics and ServiceDesk Pack for IT Analytics support.
