End-of-life and product lifecycle information for Edge Secure Web Gateway (ProxySG) or Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG) devices and software.

Resolution

See the PDF under Attachments, which identifies key dates for platforms and software that have reached end-of-maintenance or end-of-life in their product lifecycle (these are listed by model/version number).

What’s New?

• The 7.3 Long-term Release (LTR) End of Maintenance (EOM) has been set and replaced with the 7.4 LTR new release.
  

  • The EOL announcement date for SGOS 7.3 is December 31, 2024.

  • The GA date for SGOS 7.4 was July 8, 2023

  • Limited Support is provided up to the Final Drop Support Date and includes:

    • Resolving security vulnerabilities (critical and high) - if resolved with SGOS 7.4 LTR, we will recommend an upgrade

    • No new NSFR (features) after December 31, 2024, new features will be delivered with SGOS 7.4 LTR 

      • The planned cadence of maintenance releases for the period from Dec 2024 to the end of Dec 2026, may contain previously approved exceptions for minor enhancements, security updates, and security vulnerabilities. Check with your Broadcom team.

  • Customers will have 2 years from the EOL announcement date, December 31, 2024 (or final Drop Support Date), to upgrade to SGOS 7.4 LTR
