Issue/Introduction

After the product migration from Netview to Netmaster, SHOW NTS returns
N74924 NETWORK SPECIFIED IS NOT KNOWN TO NTS.

ISTPDCLU is running active.

The CNM ACB is running Active.

After SAW START=COLD LOG=YES command is submitted, the following response is returned:

N74210 SESSION AWARENESS LOGGING REQUEST ACCEPTED.

N75201 SESSION AWARENESS PROCESSING NOW ACTIVE.          
N75212 COLLECTION OF NTS ACCOUNTING DATA: GLOBAL.        
N75212 COLLECTION OF NTS RESOURCE STATISTICS DATA: ACTIVE.
N75601 SESSION TRACE PROCESSING ENABLED.                 
N75002 START SAW PROCESSING REQUEST ACCEPTED BY VTAM.    
N37209 CNM SEND REJECTED, SENSE 08150000. 

 



How to solve an error from getting NTS data after product migration from Netview to Netmaster?

VTAM has a SAW Filter much like our DEFCLASS commands.

They are assembled into VTAMLIB(ISTMGC10). The purpose is to eliminate SAW data before it is passed on to the network management application.

The solution is to delete this filter with:    
  MODIFY NET,TABLE,OPT=DELETE,TYPE=FILTER

This allows the suppression of the current session awareness (SAW) data filter. When this is done, SAW data and trace data for all sessions are sent over the CNM interface.
