When we run the New OS Image Wizard , why does the Operating System list have no Operating Systems listed ?

Issue/Introduction

In CA Client Automation, when creating a OS Image you need to select the

Operating System you are creating the image for,

that data is stored in the template.ini file.



When we run the New OS Image Wizard ,

why does the Operating System list have no Operating Systems listed ?

CA Client Automation - All Versions

Resolution

When running the New OS Image Wizard and the Operating Systems List comes up blank

or it is missing Operating System(OS) Images:

You need to check the following folders structure:

\CA\DSM\osimips\os-template\

Is the template.ini file there ??

In the images subdirectory is there sub-directories for each template ??

Copy the Images or template.ini from another DM or reinstall OSIM.
