Issue/Introduction

I would like to run Command Line Workstation (CLW) commands from my Workstation (WS) PC to the Enterprise Manager (EM).  However, CLW is sending the password in clear text.

Can I use the SSL port 5443 instead of the non-secure port 5001 on the EM to run CLW commands?

Environment

All Supported APM Environments

Resolution

Command Line Workstation command is not supported to work over SSL or HTTPS.  It is designed to communicate only over non- encrypted protocols.
