Issue/Introduction

TSS9999E CA-TSS SECURITY SVC ABEND S0D5 IN TSSDSSRV+xxx (intermittently) when users connect to an application.

What would cause this?

Resolution

If the SECCACHE Control Option feature is used, the Control Option SWAP(NO) must also be set.

The combination of using SECCACHE with SWAP(YES) set could result in S0D5 abend in module TSSDSSRV.

Change the CA Top Secret control option from SWAP(YES) to SWAP(NO) to prevent this issue.
