Issue/Introduction

I used Chorus to do some maint for a new product, and finished with a "Clean up and Hide." The CASC file was deleted, but not two temp areas:

OMVS.xxx.CAI.MSMSERV.xxx
OMVS.xxx.CAI.MSMSERV.xxx.DATA
OMVS.xxx.CAI.MSMSERV.xxx
OMVS.xxx.CAI.MSMSERV.xxx.DATA

Is there are way to remove them? We are very limited on zFS space. I used Chorus to do some maint for a new product, and finished with a "Clean up and Hide." The Software Catalog zFS files were deleted, but not two temp zFS files created during the install of the maintenance. Is there are way to remove them? We are very limited on zFS space.

Any supported release of z/OS & CSM.

Resolution

Files were deleted after a delay as designed:

MSM0002I - Temporary filesystem OMVS.xxx.CAI.MSMSERV.xxx  inactive for more than 60 minutes and the space has
 been released
