When we issue command VMBACKUP QUERY BACKUPS, it shows TAPE BLOCKS that it' has backed up. What is the blocking factor for that? Is it whatever tape drive we have? For instance, if we have (virtual) 3490E's, is the TAPE BLOCKS xxxxxx - 38K blocks?
The documentation on QUERY BACKUPS says accumulated # of tape blocks written by the stream. Tape blocks mean tape blocks, not disk blocks. The size of a VMBACKUP tape block varies. For example, a new domain always starts a new tape block. The maximum size of a VMBACKUP tape block is 64K-1.
