Issue/Introduction



All jobs that are defined to run as a specific job owner are failing.

The following is found in the jobs spool files:

 

CAWA_I_20008 Agent version: CA Workload Automation Agent for Microsoft Windows R11.3 Build 413

CAWA_I_20010 The local security is bypassed

CAWA_E_20020 Logon failed for userx due to: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password..Error code: 1326

 

Environment

Product - Workload Automation AE 11.3.xPlatform - WindowsDatabase - Any

Resolution

Confirm one may physically login as the job owner on the agent machine to ensure the account is not locked and that you have the correct password.

Confirm the job owner is defined correctly in autosys_secure.

Confirm the jil machine definition includes the "opsys: windows" setting if the job owner is a domain user and the agent is running on Windows.

 

NOTE - May may also make use of the "password" and "chkusr" agent utilities to confirm the job owner can login on the agent with an encrypted password.
