Note: To download the product, you must be registered as an enterprise user with the Broadcom support portal. If you have trouble registering, please contact Broadcom Customer Care Team and a Customer Care Representative will be happy to assist you.
Download and install FTP applications
If you are unable to download the product via FTP on the Broadcom portal directly, you can use any third-party application to download it.
Broadcom recommends FileZilla or WinSCP for FTP downloads:
Download files using FTP
Before Starting the download using any of the above applications, you need to follow a few steps on the Broadcom portal.
- Add the product to Download Management by following the steps mentioned in the Link or you can find the details in below
- Once you select the Download Manager option you will find the list of product(s) you have selected to download.
- For every product added to the page, you will have to Download via HTTP or FTP.
- Select the FTP icon, and you will find the details related such as:
- Host Name
- User Name
- Password
- You can also use Generate Access Credentials if you don’t want to use your Broadcom credentials.
Note: Generate Access Credentials can be used by IDP users who use the link https://support.broadcom.com/user via their internal SSO applications (Clarity, Rally, or any other SSO/IDPs).
Once you click on Generate, you will be provided with a temporary Username and password based on your original credentials for downloads
Using FileZilla
- Open/Launch Filezilla and enter the Hostname, Username, and Password as per the Broadcom Portal
- Once the connection is established, you will see the order ID folders on the right side of the panel.
- Just drag the folder with the Product name from the right to left panel and it will begin downloading.
- Once finished the download gets transferred to your machine.
Note: If you have multiple order IDs, refer to Broadcom Support Portal Download Manager to compare order IDs and downloads.
Using WinSCP
- Open/Launch WinScp and enter the Hostname, Username, and Password as per the Broadcom Portal.
- Once the connection is established, you will see the order ID folders on the right side of the panel.
- Just drag the folder with the Product name from the right to left panel and it will begin downloading.
- Once finished the download gets transferred to your machine.
