How can I capture Linux Environment variables in CA Easytrieve?
Is there an equivalent statement in CA Easytrieve for DISPLAY UPON ENVIRONMENT and ACCEPT FROM ENVIRONMENT statements as in COBOL?
The following document describes how to capture Linux Environment variables in CA Easytrieve: How to capture Linux Environment variables in CA Easytrieve.mht
There are two macros in this example - ENVVAR1.mac and ENVVARN.mac.
ENVVAR1.mac can be used the very first time, before any CA Easytrieve PROGRAM or JOB activities.
ENVVARN.mac can be used later, after ENVVAR1.mac, within a JOB activity.
