Post timesheet error: "ORA-01400 ("CLARITY"."PPA_MATRIXCHECKOUT"."MATRIXKEY") "

Issue/Introduction

After running the Post Timesheet job, you see there is an approved timesheet that is not moving to a Posted status
Looking at the bg-ca.log file, you see the following error:
ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("CLARITY"."PPA_MATRIXCHECKOUT"."MATRIXKEY") 

Cause

The post timesheet job does not find a rate to apply for an investment added to the resource's timesheet

Resolution

1. Ensure that the investments on the resource's timesheet have matrix associations properly set
2. Ensure that the resource of the timesheet affected contains a valid row on the rate matrix
   Administration > Finance > Manage Matrix
3. Ensure the row covers the whole lifetime of the investments added to the timesheet
