Missing CPU Metric data for devices

Issue/Introduction

Metric data for CPU metrics from devices is missing. Reports show No Data Available for these metrics. The Vendor Certification does show as supported but no items are discovered or polled.

Environment

All supported Performance Management releases

Cause

The MIB OIDs polled for the given Vendor Certification return an error when polled from the device.

Resolution

Engage device administrator or Vendor. First determine if the MIB the Vendor Certification uses is loaded on the device. If it is, confirm the Data Collector can successfully query those OIDs and receive a response via independent CLI tools such as snmpwalk or snmpget. Once successfully returned with values, the metric data should begin to show up.

This was raised against the Juniper SPU Router CPU Vendor Certification but can apply to any Vendor Certification.
