Issue/Introduction
When uploading a project from Microsoft Project to Clarity PPM, changes do not always save back to Clarity.
Cause
This can happen if the project name is changed locally to a different then the original project in PPM. It will instead create a new project in PPM.
Environment
Release : All Supported Releases
Component : CA PPM MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)
Resolution
The file should be saved back with the same name as that that was exported from PPM.
Note:
- To use an existing project in MSP to create a new project in Clarity:
- Delete all data in Text3 (Including for the project summary task) and save the project back to Clarity using Save As
- To display the project summary task: Ensure the Setting to display the project summary task is checked in the project in File->Options->Advanced)
