Why does a new blank project1 file open along with the Clarity PPM Project in MSP?

Issue/Introduction

When opening a project from Clarity PPM to Microsoft Project (MSP), a blank project1 file opens as well. Is this expected?

Release : 15.7

Component : CA PPM MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)

Resolution

This project1 file that opens can be closed out or ignored. It will not impact the projects being worked on with the MSP Integration.
