Processes erroring with BPM-0526 error in Clarity PPM due to tablespace issue

Issue/Introduction

Processes are erroring in Clarity PPM with the following error:

Error: BPM-0526: Cannot start process. Process is not active or validated. 

In the app-ca.logs or bg-ca.logs, the below error is seen:

Error message: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01654: unable to extend index CMN_SEC_ASSGND_OBJ_PERM_N2 by 8192 in tablespace CLRT_INDX

Environment

Release: All Supporting Release 

Resolution

• The fix is to extend the tablespace or keep auto extend of tablespace.
• Restart the Clarity PPM services

There may be other additional errors reported for lack of tablespace around various functionalities.
