Issue/Introduction
Users are unable to edit static dependent lookup values which have special character in value id.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Use case 1 :- For Special character & in the static dependent look up value id
1.Login to CA PPM
2.Click on Administration ->Lookup
3.Click on New
4.Fill up the form with Lookup id and name(Created static lookup)
5.Add one level ->Click on New
6. Fill up the form
7. Add value in the Look up
8. Create value with name test and Id with & test
9. Click on save and return
10. Value got created
11. Click on value to modify again .
Expected Results:Values in the static dependent lookup got created . User Is able to edit and save name and description.
Actual Results:User unable to modify the lookup values.
Values are not getting saved in the database and have no data found error in the app_ca.logs file. Value Name and description is blank .
Use Case 2:- For special character % and ^ in the static dependent look up value id
1.Login to CA PPM
2.Click on Administration ->Lookup
3.Click on New
4.Fill up the form with Lookup id and name(Created static lookup)
5.Add one level ->Click on New
6. Fill up the form
7. Add value in the Look up
8. Create value with name test and Id with & test
9. Click on save and return
10. Value got created
11. Click on value to modify again
Expected result :- Values in the static dependent lookup got created . User Is able to edit and save name and description.
Actual Result :- Unable to connect to server error Pop-up comes and after clicking on OK unable to navigate to PPM.
Unable to get back to environment until refreshed the page with environment URL .

Resolution
DE47289 is fixed in PPM 15.6.
Workaround:
1. Login to CA PPM
2. Click on Administration->Look Up
3. Filter the static dependent lookup created
4. click on values
5. click on translate button
6. Check for the Clarity account language For Example :- English
7. Modify the Name and description
8. Click on Save and return
We can then modify the static dependent lookup from the translate button.
Workaround:
1. Login to CA PPM
2. Click on Administration->Look Up
3. Filter the static dependent lookup created
4. click on values
5. click on translate button
6. Check for the Clarity account language For Example :- English
7. Modify the Name and description
8. Click on Save and return
We can then modify the static dependent lookup from the translate button.
