Actuals are missing on the Project list page

Issue/Introduction

After filling in actuals and Timesheets have been posted, actuals are not showing up on the Project List page (Home->Projects) for one or more projects. The hours on the Project View are not matching. The actuals are correct on the Team, task, Gantt, and assignment level of the project.

For this issue, you may notice:

• Actuals for the project show up as 0 on the project list page or less than what is shown in other views for the project such as the Team view.
• Some projects may show correct actuals, but there is a difference / mismatch / lower amount for some projects versus timesheets where actuals don't roll up to the project.
• Cannot Update Actuals on the project properties or project list view

How can the 'actual units' display in the Project List View or Project Properties pages when the 'Actuals' attribute has been added to the page?

Cause

The Investment Allocation job hasn't run since the actuals were posted.

See Investment Allocation Job Schedule Frequency for recommended frequency to run the job.  

Resolution

Release 16.0.2: 

• Job Name = 'Update Investment Allocations and Usage' 
• The job has been enhanced and parameters added so the job can target a specific investment, investments associated with a specific investment manager or investments associated with specific OBS Units. 
• Refer to additional articles for more details.   

  

Prior to 16.0.2:

• Run the Investment Allocation job, which is required to see the updated Actuals on the Project List.
• The job only processes the investments that are active in the system, so please ensure the active flag is checked for the project.
