Task / assignment dates impact with Timesheet population in Modern UX

Issue/Introduction

How do Task / Assignment Start Finish dates impact Timesheet Population in the Clarity New User Experience / Modern User Experience (NUX/MUX)?

These scenarios include the below timesheet creation options: 

• Add Assigned Tasks
• Copy Previous Timesheet
• Copy Previous Timeheet with Hours

Resolution

If the timesheet is created using the Add Assigned Tasks feature:

• Here are scenarios where the task will still show up even if the time period is not within the assignment start/finish dates
  
  • The task is added if the time period falls within the system timesheet population window set in Clarity  in Administration->Timesheet Options. (Whether ETC on the task is 0 or not). 
    
    • Note: The task won't be added if the assignment status is 'Completed' even though the task is in Started status. See more details at: New UX started tasks are not being added to new timesheet when assigned tasks is checked
  • The application also shows tasks with non-zero remaining ETC in time periods that occur after the assignment finish date

If the timesheet is created using the Copy Previous Timesheet feature:

• If the task was on the prior timesheet, the task will get added using this feature.

If the timesheet is created using the Copy Previous Timesheet (with Hours) feature:

• If the task was on the prior timesheet, the task (and the hours from the previous task) will get added using this feature (providing the day being copied from (or to) is not a non working day).
