Project setting 'Open for Time Entry' impact on Timesheet Population in New UX

Issue/Introduction

How does the Project setting Open for Time Entry influence Timesheet tasks when using the various options to create a timesheet in the New User Experience / Modern User Experience (NUX/MUX)? These scenarios include the below timesheet creation options: 

• Add Assigned Tasks
• Copy Previous Timesheet
• Copy Previous Timeheet with Hours

Resolution

If the timesheet is created using any of the three options of Add Assigned Tasks, Copy Previous Timesheet, Copy Previous Timesheet (with Hours) features:

• The task will NOT get added when the timesheet is created unless the project is open for time entry. 

• However if the project is closed for time entry, the user can use the +Work button to add the needed task(s) from the project to the timesheet after the timesheet is created, providing the task(s) for the project are open for time entry.
