Not able to add or delete roles in a Portfolio's Target tab in PPM

Resolution

In order to add or remove (delete) roles, make sure the Portfolio is not in Plan view mode. If it is, you won't have the ability to add or delete roles. Here are the steps to fix this:

1. In PPM, go to the Targets tab on the Portfolio.
2. In the top right hand corner of the Targets tab, click on the Plan drop down, and change the value from a plan name to "[--Portfolio--]". The Plan value will change to [--Select--].
3. Now you should see Add and Remove buttons appear next to the other buttons at the bottom of the portfolio.
  • To delete a role, check the check boxes next to the role(s) you want to delete and click the 'Remove' buttonĀ 
  • To add a role, click the 'Add' button
