Issue/Introduction

While installing agent on a Windows Server with 2 IPs/NICs, the agent is automatically trying to connect via Backup IP.

Because of this Orchestrator is not able to establish connection with the agent.

How to configure the ITPAM Agent to bind to a specific IP address?

Environment

ITPAM 4.3 and 4.4

Resolution

Edit the OasisConfig.properties file on the ITPAM Agent machine.

Modify the following to be the IP address that you want to bind to (it will currently be set to the host name, but you want to change this to an IP address):

#Defines the host name of the computer that is used for communication with the Orchestrator or agent.
oasis.jxta.host=

Save the file and restart the ITPAM Agent.
