What are the steps to enable/disable email notifications (server) in a Clarity Environment?

Request details

Open a case with Broadcom support, providing the below information:

  • Environment URL (Mandatory):
  • Preferred Scheduled activity timeframe (date & time):

Requirements

  • Requests require 48 hours of advanced notice prior to the proposed scheduled date.
  • Requests require a 30-minute downtime. 

On Premise customers

Disable the mail server

  1. Navigate to the CSA > System page
  2. Make a change to any/all fields in the Mail Server section so that authentication cannot occur.

Enable the mail server

  1. Navigate to the CSA > System page
  2. Provide the required fields to authenticate.
