Rally / Clarity Timesheet Integration: Gray/blank Screen

Issue/Introduction

After implementing the Clarity  / Agile Central integration, the Timesheet integration is not working. We are not able to see Clarity timesheets in Rally. Timesheets display a Gray / blank Screen. 

We see  the following error in the Developer Tools console view: "Refused to display ''<clarityurl>.com/pm/integration.html#'/pm/integration.html#' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'"

Tip: To enable Developer Tools to verify the error:

• In Chrome, click Ctrl+Shift+I on your keyboard and reproduce the issue
• In Internet Explorer, click F12 on your keyboard and reproduce the issue

Cause

Both the Integration URL and the Referrer URL (even for non-SSO) fields need to be filled out in Clarity. Once that is done, the Agile Sync job also needs to be run.

Resolution

1. Add the Integration URL and Referrer URL fields:
   • In Clarity go to Administration > General Settings -> Integrations
   • Click on the Integration
   • On the General page for the Integration enter both of the below (Even if they are the same URL)
     • Integration URL
     • Referrer URL
2. Run the Synchronize Agile Central job
