How and when is required to clear the Introscope EM OSGI cache?

When do I need to clear the osgi cache?
- If you have received a debug jar for Broadcom Support to investigate and troubleshoot a problem.
- OSGI cache corruption due to an expected system restart or crash, ungraceful EM shutdown, incomplete upgrade
How to clear the OSGI cache?
Introscope EM:
1. Stop the Introscope Enterprise Manager
2. Go to <em install dir>/product/enterprisemanager/configuration/'
- If you are using 10.8 SP1 and onward version : Delete all files *except* the org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator folder and config.ini
- If you are using 10.8.0 HF#1-3, 10.7 and below version: Delete all files except the config.ini
3. go to <em install dir>/work - remove all files
4. Start the Introscope Enterprise Manager
NOTE: If you are using a cluster environment, you need to apply this recommendation in all the Introscope EMs (MOM and collectors)
Introscope Webview:
1. Stop the Introscope WebView
2. Go to <webview install dir>/product/webview/configuration/'
- If you are using 10.8 SP1 and onward version : Delete all files *except* the org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator folder and config.ini
- If you are using 10.8.0 HF#1-3, 10.7 and below version: Delete all files except the config.ini
3. go to <webview install dir>/work - remove all files
4. Start the Introscope WebView
Introscope Workstation:
If you are using workstation standalone version (.exe)
1. Stop the Introscope Workstation
2. Go to <workstation install dir>/product/workstation/configuration/' folder:
- If you are using 10.8 SP1 and onward version : Delete all files *except* the org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator folder and config.ini
- If you are using 10.8,0 HF#1-3, 10.7.x and below version: Delete all files except the config.ini
3. Start the Introscope Workstation
