Issue/Introduction

I made changes to a user story, defect, feature, etc. and yet the revision history shows that I made updates when I did not.

Also,

We're experiencing a unique issue when attempting to make a change to a milestone.  When attempting to save a change to a rich text field, it saves successfully, but the session remains cached and it asks you to save a second time.  In revision history, it shows that a different field had been modified upon completing the second save.

Resolution

The changes noted in the revision history can be any (several) field(s) in the details tab. This issue is caused by a Browser Extension/Plugin called Selenium.  This is not provided by or installed/supported by CA and is known to cause Rally to record revision updates.

In order to prevent updates to the revision history, please disable the extension.  You may also wish to investigate an option to white-list the Rally domain or IP addresses - if you use the Selenium plugin in your daily activities.
