This technical document will explain how to back-up or restore data from your secondary disk back to your primary disk.
Secondary storage, often recognized as auxiliary storage or external storage, in theory is non-volatile storage that is not under the direct influence of a computer's central processing unit (CPU) or does not directly interact with an application.
1.) Open a serial connection (BAUD 115200 8N1)
2.) Reboot the GateKeeper
3.) During the reboot process, hold down <Delete> to enter “Setup”
4.) On the “Setup” screen, arrow down one item to <Advanced BIOS Features> and press <Enter>
5.) Arrow down one to <Hard Disk Boot Priority> and press Enter
6.) Use the ‘-‘ key to move Ch0 down, changing the boot to begin with Ch1
7.) Press the <F10> key to Save this change
8.) When prompted to “Save CMOS and Exit”, select the y key for <Yes> and press <Enter>
9.) GateKeeper will restore the Backup file from the Ch1 drive to the Ch0 drive and reboot
10.) During the reboot process, hold down <Delete> to enter “Setup”
11.) On the “Setup” screen, arrow down one item to <Advanced BIOS Features> and press Enter
12.) Arrow down one to <Hard Disk Boot Priority> and press Enter
13.) Use the ‘-‘ key to move Ch1 down, changing the boot to begin with Ch0
14.) Press the <F10> key to Save this change
15.) GateKeeper will reboot with a Restore of the last System Backup from Secondary Disk
