Issue/Introduction

I am having a problem with Windows servers hosting the Tibco Message Queue - the queue keeps rising in data being consumed.

Environment

Release: 12.x and 14.x
Component: SEOSWG

Resolution

1. Stop the Message queue (CA Message Queue server service ) and TIBCO

2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\CA\AccessControlServer\MessageQueue\tibco\cfgmgmt\ems\data and in file tibemsd.conf see where the queues are located (store setting). Let's assume it is under MessageQueue\tibco\cfgmgmt\ems\data\datastore

3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\CA\AccessControlServer\MessageQueue\tibco\cfgmgmt\ems\data\datastore and see the size of the queue(s). If they are greater than 2 Gbyte, move the files elsewhere (do not delete them, just in case)

4. Restart the message queue service and Tibco service
You may as well check if the log under C:\Program Files\CA\AccessControlServer\MessageQueue\tibco\log. It's name is ems.log. If it is big (2 Gbyte or more) just move it elsewhere (stopping tibco first)
