Issue/Introduction

What caused CA Datacom 15.0 MUF to abend one time with no re-occurrence:

  DBMUFPR S075 at 14603440 LMOD DBMUFPR CSECT DBMUFPR +00344

I could not find any solution with this S075 abend as a symptom.

Resolution

The S075 abend is due to a small timing window that very sporadically causes MUF to schedule an SRB for a user address space that has already gone away, i.e. for a job that was reported as missing in message DB00120I. 

This problem was fixed by PTF RO92248. That dump shows that the corresponding module, DBINTPR is at level RO87023.

CA strongly advises apply an even later PTF RO97368 (at of this writing) which fixes a somewhat similar situation and of course also the S075 abend. 

Additional Information

For Datacom Version 15.1, the solution is PTF RO91632.

Again, CA advises bringing maintenance up to current level.
