Issue/Introduction

The client having a problem downloading from our web site. When trying to use the DLM method they get a list of directories on their local machine into which they plan to download to. After choosing one, they are prompted :

"Cannot Save please select another location'

Then the popup window says "Download complete!" when in fact it has not started.

Cause

This was a local firewall problem.

Resolution

Held webex session with client and we found he could not save any download to his P.C 

I further demonstrated this to be a local firewall issue as I had  the user attempt to download any file from downloads.com which is a safe site run by CNET. 

Any attempt to DL received a banner page asking to contact his company helpdesk to request access. 

Client will need to discuss this their network folks.
