Issue/Introduction

Having one realm with the below settings

Persistent Session: persistent
validation Period: Enabled
Hours: 0
Minutes: 0
Seconds: 0

What does setting 0 to Hours, Minutes, and Seconds mean? Does it mean the Web Agent will validate the user session for every request? Or does it mean it will never validate the user session?

Resolution

If the validation period is set to 0, then the authentication is done indefinitely from the cache and no calls are made to the Policy Server.

The Validation Period value must be greater than 0.

The Session validation period must be less than the specified Idle Timeout value.
