Issue/Introduction

Supporting TSS in a large sysplex AND a large monoplex environment. In both cases none of the databases are shared and ALL changes are sent via cpf to other nodes. Is this my best setup as far as performance is concerned? Or would I get better performance by not CPFing anything and sharing the security file (and leaving other files local to the system)?

Environment

Release:
Component: TSSMVS

Resolution

Standalone Secfiles with SHRFILE(NO) set using CPF, cache and seccache is normally best with performance. Reason being no LOCKING issues when several systems Sharing Secfile.
